FINISH
With my arrangement and tracks in place, I started to look into adding small effects and techniques that would help smoothen out transitions, and would give the listener something new to listen to. Basically just alot of automation. I used an EQ sweep to give that "live" sounding transition between sections and volume to introduce and take out ideas. To help keep things clear I also automated my synth reverb so the tails wouldn't collide with other textures. And that was basically my mix
... 7 faders and a little EQ.

I mastered down to -12LUFS. Although you could kind of categorise it as dance music (with a much shallower dynamic range), I still wanted to breath some life into it by having a larger range. Like said; it's a very basic "three chord" track, but all that means is that I have to find another way of keeping the listeners attention. Variation, interesting flicks and dynamic range are what I'm using for that purpose.
To tighten up the bass end I used a dynamic EQ on the master channel. That will also help stop the low end triggering the compressors/limiter too early. Like basically all my tracks... I used a high-mid excited to add a crispness to master. If been getting great results by doing so and am hearing more life in my music.
My final bounce is 24bit/44.1 WAV file with a -1dB ceiling.
